My first tattoo, I love it so much!
Hi, my name is Julie. I got this tattoo along with my best friend who got one similar. Her’s is much smaller and along her hair line, just the words. I love it, it’s a symbol of our undying friendship and encourages us every day to live our lives to the fullest (which is something both of us need to be reminded to do very often. =P)

This is my new tattoo. I chose to get this because it shows perseverance and always moving forward. Even when times are hard and you feel like giving up, you just gotta push your self to keep going. And have a good attitude about it (:

“Adventure is out there” from the movie UP! I got it done at High Class Tattoo in Simi Valley, CA. The text is in my mother’s handwriting. The picture was taken right after it was done, it is on the outside of my left leg.
Whenever my mom and i get lost we just say it’s an adventure. This was a way for me to always have a part of my mom with me no matter where i am. i also love traveling and being spontaneous and i believe life is an adventure, so let the journey begin.

This is my first and only tattoo, this photo was taken straight after it was done. It took just under 4 hours and was done at Comet tattoos in Phuket Thailand by Aun. He changed my original idea around a bit (it was his idea to put the blue under Rafiki) but he made it perfect and I love it.
I grew up with Lion King and it is still my favourite movie. I got the disney font for obvious reasons and it’s just a really good motto to live by and Rafiki is amazing :)
Ever since I first watched the lion king i’ve just loved saying ‘Hakuna Matata’ and I always say no worries ahaha. I don’t think this could be done any better, done by Lauren Winzer in Sydney (http://laurenwinzer.tumblr.com/) I had this done for 3 hours and 2 people told me it’s the best tattoo they’ve ever seen.
So happy with this :)
